Class cancellation policy:
Cancellations requested 7 days prior to the start of class are eligible for a full refund. Many of our classes are taught by outside instructors that rely on a minimum number of students being enrolled, therefore cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours prior to class are subject store credit refund minus any instructor fees. Cancellations with less than 48 hours forfeit all fees.
Should Sew Hip or the instructor need to reschedule the class, we will work with students to find a time that is convenient for all. If we can't make it work, a full refund will be provided.
Regarding class preparation and homework:
A list of required supplies will be emailed to students in advance of class. Please be sure you have received the class supply and preparation information ahead of class time. If you did not receive it, call or email the shop - don't wait until the last minute as there is preparation needed for this class. Sometimes those emails go to SPAM or JUNK folders.
Come to class on time – with all your required supplies ready. Your fabric, cutting tools, and sewing machine, if needed, should be ready to use when you arrive. If the instructor asks you to pre-cut or prep anything before class, please do that before you arrive so you don't slow down the class. Coming to class unprepared will be counted as a no show as it is very disruptive for both instructor and other students.
