Collage Quilting Introduction
Class communications will be sent via email. If you do not receive a transaction receipt or other automated emails following enrollment, please verify that our emails are not going to your junk box. We want to make sure everyone receives all of the information sent regarding class.
Class cancellation policy:
Cancellations requested 7 days prior to the start of class are eligible for a full refund. Many of our classes are taught by outside instructors that rely on a minimum number of students being enrolled, therefore cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours prior to class are subject store credit refund minus any instructor fees. Cancellations with less than 48 hours forfeit all fees. Should Sew Hip or the instructor need to reschedule the class, we will work with students to find a time that is convenient for all. If we can't make it work, a full refund will be provided.

| Instructor Bio: | Hi, I am Shann. I am a retired private practice audiologist who has always loved creating through different artistic mediums. I began my artistic career at age 5 (no joke) and sewing at age 12 because I wanted clothes. This was also when my addiction for fabric began and I have to say that I have really become adept at it! By no means would I call myself an expert in quilting but I love the artistic creativity of it and have tried all aspects of quilting (ok except for English Paper Piecing…my hat’s off to you folks). I began quilting when I retired in 2016 and dove right in taking local and online classes. Hey, a person can never learn enough and the more ideas and techniques we learn can open us up to developing our own unique and lovely styles. I found that I was happiest creating my own designs free form and have made many custom design quilts at the request of family and friends as well as traditional quilts. So, the most amazing, fantastic and wonderful thing about collage quilting is that you do not need to be a sewist or quilter to complete one. Yes, it is true! So, if you want to go on this creative adventure with Sew Hip, join us for the beginning collage class. You will also learn how to turn a collage pattern into a different design if you want to. All are welcome! Please be aware….this is a no judgement class. Negative thinking is not allowed. |
