Online Sewing Machine Basics
This single session beginner class will cover the parts of the sewing machine, how to correctly thread your machine, choose the right settings, and sew straight lines and turn corners. Each student will complete a simple beginners project by the end of class.
For the online version of this class, you must have a working sewing machine, sewing machine needles, thread, the appropriate bobbin for your machine, and pins. An iron and ironing surface are also highly recommended. Fabric for the class project is included in the class fee. Other materials can be purchased or rented for a small additional fee. Prior to the start of class, you will need to arrange for pickup of your fabric. If you are unsure if you have the other materials required, please contact the shop and we can help you!
Class will be held via a Zoom meeting. Ahead of the scheduled start time, students will receive a link to join the meeting.
