The long-awaited class is here. Learn to sew your own jeans! We'll begin with a fitting session to get your pattern right before working through special seam types, zip-fly, rivets, and everything else needed to finish with a pair of amazing jeans!

Sewing 101 is for the new or relatively inexperienced sewist. Sewing Machine basics is recommended but not required. We ’ll review the basics of the machine, pinning and cutting fabric, sewing a straight line, corners and curves, and turning and pressing. The projects are a lined drawstring bag, a zippered pouch and decorative pillow with invisible zipper. Materials are included. You can bring your own machine or one will be provided at no charge.

What comes after Sewing 101? Sewing 201! This 2 day class will use all the techniques you learned in 101 but we will add in some new fun ones like installing hardware and making a welt zipper pocket. Your one of a kind messenger bag will leave you feeling confident in your sewing skills. Notes: You must have taken sewing 101 or comparable class. We will only touch on beginner topics such as threading the machine, backstitching, and seam allowance.

Do you have a sewing machine but don ’t know the first thing about it? In this class we’ll go over the basic components of the sewing machine: how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, sew straight lines & corners, reverse and complete a small project! Class is 2 hours and all materials are included. Bring your own machine or use a class machine at no charge.

Yee-Haw!!! Mosey on down to rodeo camp for a couple days where the kiddos will learn the basics of sewing and bring home a completed project each day. Materials and machines are included. Kids should bring lunch and a water bottle.
